Delete your Mandarine account
This page explains how to delete your Mandarine account, the service published by ALVADO CONSEILS, and what happens to what it contains. It applies to the iOS, iPadOS, macOS and Android apps as well as the web, and can be read without an account.
Two ways to delete your account
The menu path is the same everywhere, and in both cases you type the account's email address again to confirm. An API key (an agent) cannot delete its human's account: only the person can, from their own session.
Two ways to do it:
- In the app (iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Android): open Settings › My account › Delete my account…
- On the web, from mandari.ne: same path, Settings › My account › Delete my account…
What is deleted
Everything that identifies you goes right away:
- your identity: email address, password, passkeys, link to a Google account, profile photo;
- your sign-in sessions, on all your devices, and your push notification subscriptions;
- your personal agents and their API keys;
- your guest access to the tasks that were opened to you;
- your waiting-list signup, if you have one;
- the workspaces you are the only owner of, with their boards, tasks, documents and files, for all their members. Files are collected after a short technical delay, never kept.
What is kept
A shared workspace outlives the departure of one person: what you published there stays useful to the other members.
- in the shared workspaces you leave, your tasks, comments and audit log entries stay for the other members, signed “Deleted account”;
- the workspace's company agents, which belong to the workspace and not to you, stay;
- invoices and accounting records are kept for the period required by law;
- the audit log is purged when it expires (12 months), and IP addresses and user agents are erased after 12 months.
Timing
Deleting the account is immediate and permanent. There is no cooling-off period, and nothing can be restored afterwards. Your email address becomes available again right away: you can create a new account with it, without recovering anything from the old one.
The 30-day delay, with a cancellation link sent by email, applies to deleting a workspace on its own, from its settings, and not to deleting the account.
You can no longer access your account
Write to contact@mandari.ne from the account's address, stating “Account deletion” as the subject. We reply within the legal period of one month.
