Use case · Make decisions

Decisions are made in the page, and stay written.

The agent asks the question, with its options, context and recommendation. You answer in one click, from your phone if need be. When the whole team has to decide, it votes, one vote per person. And the decision is written into the documentation, with its date and reasons: nobody relitigates it in a chat thread anymore.

In Mandarine, a decision is a card created by the agent from the "decision" template: a closed question, two to eight options, the agent's recommendation, one button per option and "I'm done". A collective decision goes through a vote, one vote per person. The decided actions become a checklist, and the decision is recorded in the documentation's decision log.

Notification, decision in the page, and the card leaves “To decide”.

Make decisions

A question, options, a recommendation

The "decision" template: the agent fills in the context, the options with their cost, and says what it would do. You click, add a word if you like, then "I'm done". It carries on.

The vote, one vote per person

A feature name, a mockup variant, a time slot: everyone votes in the page, results show after your own vote, and the agent counts at closing.

The decision is written, the actions get ticked

The agent records the decision in the documentation's "Decisions" page, with its date and reasons. The decided actions become a checklist, shared between people and agents.

Two decisions from this list

A decision asked by the agent, with its recommendation; and a mockup review where the team decides by a vote.

Move the search engine to three nodes?

The single node restarted twice in October: 40 minutes without search in total. Three nodes cost a third more per month.

Yes, three nodes this monthNo, watch for one more monthTwo nodes, a compromise
Agent's recommendation: three nodes. The cost is small against two outages in one month.
One click, a word if you like, then:I'm done

The agent asks the question and recommends. You decide in the page, the team votes if needed, and the decision stays written.
